TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Eduard Suess, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date2 March 1905
DescriptionEncloses a letter from the President of the Accademia dei Lincei, addressed to the Royal Society, but which should have gone to the Directing Academy of Vienna. Does now know who is acting Secretary for Suess at Vienna [not enclosed].

The Society has agreed to recommend the Government joint the Seismic International Association on certain conditions, chief of which is that the organization started by John Milne for earthquake observation shall first be subsidized. Asks if Vienna has taken any step since the meeting of the Committee in October last.
