DescriptionIn reply to Blundell's letter of 22 February, the first of copies of the 'Challenger' Reports is in the hands of His Majesty's Government. Individual applications are not forwarded to the Government but recommendations are made by the 'Challenger' Committee of the Royal Society when several applications are before them. Two or three such applications are now in the Societies hands and he hopes Blundell's will be dealt with, with little further delay.
