TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor to George Walker Walker, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date6 April 1905
DescriptionThe Physics Committee considered Walker's paper on a moving charged sphere yesterday and thought his statement about the absence of radiation required further evidence. As Walker's conclusions up to the first order[?] are mainly those of known investigations worked out in improved form, the Committee thought no harm could result from keeping back the publication of the work until further investigations are available to make the results less doubtful. Walker is at liberty to publish elsewhere.
