TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Henry Poynting, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 April 1905
DescriptionThanks Poynting for his letter. It was hardly expected that the light pressure apparatus could be shown working at the Soiree but all the physicists at the Committee thought it would be a desirable and attractive exhibit merely to show the apparatus itself, so that if he can send it with some explanation, it will be very welcome.

Thinks Dr Davidson's long diagram of the earthquake record would be a most interesting thing for the Soiree and will put it forward, and if he gets authority, will communicate directly with Davidson.
