TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date21 January 1905
DescriptionThe enclosed [not enclosed] is satisfactory and there need be no delay in Minchin's start so far as the funds and Society are concerned. Presumes Lankester has some written record of the conditions under which he agreed to undertake the mission. If not it would be well to have this seen to before he actually leaves. The Council has approved of their action with regard to the application to the Foreign Office for £500 and has also sanctioned the proposed conference.
