Description | At a recent meeting of a Committee of the Royal Society, appointed to prepare the programme for the annual invitation Soiree on 17 May, it was suggested Landon might be willing to give a short illustrated lecture of about 20 to 30 minutes on Tibet. The Committee hope Landon will see his way to meet their wishes. At these gatherings, exhibits of scientific interest are brought together in the various rooms, and two lectures, at least, are given in the meeting room in the course of the evening. Has pleasure in enclosing a card of invitation for the forthcoming Soiree [not enclosed]. |
