TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Harry Marshall Ward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 April 1905
DescriptionAn application to the Scientific Relief Committee on behalf of Mr Fryer was duly laid before the Committee last week but the case not being one for relief of distress, but for a grant for the production of scientific work, the Relief Committee did not think it in their power to consider it but have forwarded it to Council with a strong recommendation for a grant from some other fund. The matter has been referred to the Botany Committee. Unless Ward thinks it probable that the Botany Committee will meet before 18 May, Ward asks if he will authorize him to obtain the opinion of the Committee by correspondence.

Has written to the Botany Congress people to remind them that Ward is appointed delegate of the Society.
