TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Abbott Herdman, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 April 1905
DescriptionHerdman's letter containing an application to the Scientific relief Fund on behalf of Mr Fryer was laid before the Committee last week, but the case not being one of distress but for a grant for the publication of scientific work, the Committee considered it was not their place to consider it. The Committee sent the case forward to Council with a strong recommendation for a grant from some other fund and have referred the matter to the Botany Committee. No decision can be arrived at before the Council meeting of 18 May.
