TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Bastian
Date19 May 1905
DescriptionIn answer to Bastian's note of today, Geikie encloses a copy of the only form of proof of his paper which the Society has [not enclosed]. Has no objection to Bastian making the insertions and additions he proposes to the extent of an additional page of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. If these contain new material or important corrections they should be clearly distinguished and dated as directed in paragraph five, page 80 of the 'Year Book', and be approved by the Chairman of the Committee.

They will do the best they can with Bastian's plate and as soon as he provides them with a page of arranged and labelled photographs, they will be put in hand without delay.
