Description | In reply to the Assistant Secretary's letter asking for advice from the Royal Society to be transmitted to him to the Foreign Office with regard to the Congress of Radiology and Ionisation, to be held at Liège in September, the information available does not enable the President and Council to form an opinion regarding the national importance of the results to be expected from the Congress. With a view to international scientific community, and on account of the consideration that Foreign Government uniformly extend to British scientific projects, the President and Council think it desirable that this country should be officially represented in some way at this Congress. |
