TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Sidney Howard Vines, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date28 January 1905
DescriptionThe Physiology Committee considered the amendments proposed by Professor Bose to his paper, in order to meet their requests preliminary to their giving a decision with regard to it. They did not consider the amendments satisfactory and could not recommend the paper for publication. On this report coming before the Committee of Papers the subject was re-opened and it was ascertained[?] that the Botany Committee had passed the paper on to the Physiology Committee and were not prepared to have it referred back to themselves for further report. Under these circumstances the Council accept the report of the Physiology Committee, which had been arrived at by a unanimous vote, and referred the paper to the archives.
