TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Sir [Joseph] Norman [Lockyer], [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date24 June 1905
DescriptionThe Physics and Chemistry Committee has considered the reports of the referees on the paper on Thames rainfall et cetera and both referees strongly advise pages 20 to 27 do not carry any conviction and are too incomplete for publication. Is allowed to lend a long critical referee's report for information. There will be a Council and final Committee of papers on 6 July, when Larmor trusts they will be in a position to make a proposal to which they can agree. Has had it alleged that the content of the paper has already appeared substantially in 'Nature'.
