DescriptionAt a meeting of the Council of the Royal Society held yesterday, Kempe was requested to state in reply to Kempe's letter of 8 June that the Council have considered the statements in Ball's letter and in a letter from G M Marks of 1 June, and relying on the accuracy of the statements contained in those letters, do not propose to take any steps regarding ascertaining a claim to the property devised and bequeathed to the Royal Society by the late Judge Randolph.
