TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Sir Patrick Manson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date12 September 1905
DescriptionManson's letter of 29 August with enclosures, from Portland, Oregon, has been received. Regrets Manson has decided to retire from the Tropical Diseases Committee but after what occurred at the last meeting, he is not surprised. The scene was much to be regretted and had he any idea that such a thing was possible he would have done what he could to prevent its occurrence.
