TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Fr Nusl, Vinohrady 1226, Pragu
Date19 September 1905
DescriptionThe matter on which Nusl wrote early in the year is difficult to deal with. The Society possess most of the papers by Herschel which Nusl enquires about but they are in various different volumes of the 'Philoophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and looking them all out will be a long job. The volumes would cost on average ten shillings a piece so that the total cost would amount to about £10, say 200 Marks. If Nusl is prepared to pay Harrison can get the volume together and send a complete list with an exact account of the total cost. The photographing of certain Newton and Herschel manuscripts could be arranged but Nusl would need to write a special letter explaining his application, and the matter would come before Council.
