TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Davidson Niven, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Mathematics Committee
Date9 October 1905
DescriptionLord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] has reported favorably on Professor Maclaurin's paper and Professor [Joseph] Larmor, who has also read it, thinks the paper might go to press for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Asks if the Chairman agrees to the printing of the paper in the 'Proceedings' under Standing Order 33.

A favorable report on Mr Whitehead's paper has been received from mr G B Mathews, and Professor Larmor suggests Professor W Burnside as a second referee. Asks if Niven concurs. Mr [Alfred Bray] Kempe has been asked but is very busy and would prefer to not report.
