TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date12 October 1905
DescriptionHas Kempe's enclosure about Mablethorpe and is writing to Smith & Oakley about it.

Has also this morning received two requests from Morley to issue receipts in the form which Harrison described to Kempe. Has been looking this matter up and is quite clear that, in admitting this sort of responsibility of the Royal Society, by giving these receipts, he has been acting under instructions which were drawn up at Morley's instigation at some meeting at Southampton Row nearly three years ago, and distinctly remembers protesting against them. Encloses a copy of the regulations which Morley persuaded the Royal Society representative to accept [not enclosed].
