TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Clerk of Works, Office of Works
Date12 October 1905
DescriptionOn the last occasion some of the Office of Works workmen were at the Society to repair some of the sash lines, they informed Harrison that instructions had been issued to fit all the windows, including those on the second floor, with chain sash lines similar to those already fitted on some of the windows in the larger rooms, and he was told that these chains had been over ordered. This was several months ago and in the meantime he has allowed sash lines to remain broken, in the expectation that any day the whole will be renewed. Asks where the matter stands.
