DescriptionIn view of the approaching time for making estimates for the year 1906-1907, the Secretaries call the attention of His Majesty's Treasury to the fact that, in accordance with their letter of 26 December 1904, the annual grant to the National Physical Laboratory is expected to rise from £5500 to £6000 in the coming year. In the same letter the hope was conveyed to the Executive Committee of the Laboratory that a further grant of £5000 would be available for buildings in that and each of the three or four following years.
