TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Francis Darwin, Foreign Secretary, Royal Society
Date17 November 1905
DescriptionMiss Chick's paper as revised is estimated to form about 30 pages of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' with one figure, as compared with two figures and 50 pages, the estimated length of the original paper.

In Darwin's letter to Miss Chick he suggested that the paper should be considerably curtailed for publication in the 'Proceedings', and further that it should be cut down to 16 pages of the 'Proceedings'. The documents connected with the paper are available at any time that Darwin may wish to see them.
