TitleCopy letter from Francis Darwin, to His Excellency the German Ambassador, 9 Carlton House Terrace, S.W.
Date21 November 1905
DescriptionThe Royal Society has this year awarded its Davy medal to the Ambassador's distinguished countryman Professor Albert Ladenburg of Breslau for his researches in organic chemistry. The President and Officers feel this offers special grounds for them to hope that the Ambassador will attend the Anniversary Meeting at which the medal will be presented on 30 November. It is hoped that if Ladenburg is unable to attend, the Ambassador will receive the medal on his behalf.
