TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor [Albert Auguste Cochon] de Lapparent
Date22 November 1905
DescriptionThe Treasury have written to the Royal Society with reference to the conditions on which Great Britain consent to join the International Seismic Organisation. From de Lapparent's letter of 30 October there appeared little hope France would join but the Society is unwilling to intimate this to its Government until they know the French Government has come to that decision. Asks if the Academie des Sciences has brought the matter before the French Government.
