TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Johnstone
Date29 November 1905
DescriptionApologizes for delay in replying to Johnstone's of 19 November. Colonel [David] Bruce had no sooner returned from South Africa than he was ordered to enquire into an epidemic in Barbados so that a meeting of the Malta Fever Committee had to be postponed until his return. The investigators in Malta send into Bruce reports of their progress and these documents received since last August are in Bruce's hands. Previous to that date the Society published all that seemed important in Part III of the Mediterranean Fever Reports. Was sorry to learn that the Local Government Board has not received the Society's reports and has made arrangements that that shall be sent today. They await Bruce's return any day.
