TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir James Dewar, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 November 1905
DescriptionIn view of the letter from Professor Mendeleeff which Dewar has sent on, the Society is reserving a place for Mendeleeff at the [Anniversary] Dinner and one for his companion Mr Blumbach. Larmor suggests Mendeleeff should be asked to respond briefly to the toast of the medalists. There will be no difficulty in Madamoiselle Mendeleeff and Mr Blumbach coming to the Anniversary meeting when the medals are presented. Asks Dewar to explain to Mendeleeff that no ladies are asked to the Dinner. Asks if Dewar will make some arrangement by which the Madamoiselle can be looked after in the evening.
