TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Thomas Lauder Brunton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date3 January 1906
DescriptionIn response to various communications received by Harrison on Brunton's behalf and a letter shown to him from Sir James Chrichton Brown, he states that the certificate for Dr Mitchell Bruce, signed by Browne has been received. He enquires if it is to be immediately sent out, or retained for signatures as mentioned by Browne.

Harrison notes that although he was told to send a blank form of certificate to Browne, he seemed surprised. The irregularity of the certificate was justified by the holidays occurring just at the time of the statutory closing of the list, and consequently is being kept open for a couple of days that week. He states that no one has been in to sign that certificate.
