| Description | Harrison reports, in relation to ventilation of the Meeting Room, that he has been unable to obtain further drawings from the Office of Works, and none of the old plans located at the Royal Society are the sort of working drawings Shaw requires. He can, however, supply the approximate horizontal distance from each of the sun burners to the main shaft, and the height of the entry point into the shaft from the level of the burners. He has also been informed that a rectangular metal pipe exists, and leads from each burner to a cavity opening into the main chimney shaft.
Harrison asks that Shaw inform him if the information contained and offered in this letter is sufficient for his needs. If so, he will have the necessary measurements taken at once. |
