TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date16 January 1906
DescriptionSchuster's letter of 13 January has been received, but without the documents from the Vienna Academy which he says he has returned. The matter of Lunar Nomenclature promoted by the Royal Astronomical Society has already been submitted to the Council of the International Association, endorsed by the Royal Society Council, and Harrison promises that Schuster's proposal about the Solar Union will also be laid before the Society's Council with a view to also being sent on.

Proofs of Schuster's paper and his additional note have not been received, though they have received the manuscript back with the first proof, and a proof returned with the addition, but not a revised proof containing the addition. However, if there are no additional changes to be made, they can go ahead with printing if he wishes to grant his authority. Harrison suggests that, as the paper is to be regarded as an abstract for a fuller paper to follow, that the word 'abstract' be added to the title.
