DescriptionHarrison informs Gray that his application, for £35 towards the production of blocks and printing maps of the Pigmentation Survey of Scotland, arrived too late for consideration by Council who met on 18 January to look at half yearly applications for Government Publication Grant aid. As the regulations dictate, the application will be considered by the President and Council of the Royal Society when they meet in July.
