TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date6 February 1906
DescriptionMinchin has sent in, apparently at Lankester's request, a short paper by F Tulloch on the 'internal anatomy of stomoxys' for the Sleeping Sickness reports. Geikie wonders if they might treat it as they did Minchin's paper on glossina, namely print it with illustrations in Proceedings of the Royal Society, and include it in their next Sleeping Sickness report. If Lankester agrees, Geikie will name him as the communicator of the paper.

Geikie also highlights that Minchin has changed the time of the committee meeting to 2.30, to accomodate an engagement he has later in the day.

A postscript reports a visit by Colonel David Bruce with a copy of a confidential letter from Moffat at Entebbe. Geikie thinks Lankester should see it, but asks that he return it once he's read it.
