DescriptionHarrison forwards the two resolutions of the Council of the Royal Society, passed last month, concerning the International Association of Academies. Firstly that the International Union for cooperation in solar reasearch wishes for the International Association to allow itself to be at the head of the list of bodies constituting the union, and secondly, that they agree to nominate one of three members of the Executive Committee. The Union proposes that the directing academy make the nomination.
