TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to the President of the Society of Chemical Industry
Date8 December 1905
DescriptionPending their approval, in line with the scheme of organisation, Larmor communicates the agreement of the Council of the Royal Society to nominate George Thomas Bailby to the Executive Committee of the National Physical Laboratory. Their approval is required as Beilby is not currently nominated to the General Board by one of the Technical Societies. The Council's nomination took account of Bailby's services to the laboratory on the executive committee, and the premature close of his membership due a scheme of rotation based on alphabetical order.

An answer before the end of the year is requested.
