TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Captain Arthur Mostyn Field, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date16 February 1906
DescriptionGeikie communicates the opinion of the Royal Society, that it is desirable for the magnetic results of the Antarctic Expedition, including those under examination at Kew, to be published together in a uniform style which matches that of the rest of the expedition work. He therefore asks that the manuscript, prepared by the Admiralty, be sent to the Society first. If the Stationary Office are to print it, Geikie suggests that an arrangement to print the whole of the magnetic work could be made.

The Society are yet to receive the manuscript from Dr Charles Chree of his portion of the work.
