Date16 February 1906
DescriptionLarmor, in response to a request for a recommendation for the post of Director of the Indian Institute of Science, which it is proposed to establish as part of the scheme originated by J N Tata, asks if the Royal Society may approach individuals to assess their interest or whether they are simply being asked to recommend a name from a list supplied by the Indian Government.
