TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date11 December 1905
DescriptionIn response to his letter, Harrison has studied his and Dr Joseph Larmor's notes and the existing lists of the National Physical Laboratory Governing Body, and concludes his previous response was correct, if incomplete, but wrong with regard to the General Board. Larmor's note received that morning states that Kaye Gray is already a member of the General Board, which explains the error.

He lists the number of vacancies for the Executive Council and the General Board and the names of those he understands to be nominated to fill them. With regard to the General Board, he supposes that Captain Sankey is to be held in reserve, in addition to the four amongst whom Kaye Gray was mistakenly placed, occupying the place originally given to Mr Mallock. The letters to the individuals being asked to serve have been stopped by Harrison, until the list has been confirmed.
