TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John George Adami, Fellow of the Royal Society, J.H.R. Molson Laboratories, McGill University, Montreal
Date16 December 1905
DescriptionHarrison has been handed Adami's letter by Joseph Larmor. He states that there are two meetings of the Royal Society, 18 and 25 January, at which he could be admitted a Fellow, though he will need to inform them a day beforehand if he will be present for admission.

He also explains that the manuscript of a Paper must be received at least one week before the date of the meeting at which it is due to be read, and if it extends beyond a few pages it must also be accompanied by a brief abstract to be printed before the meeting. Although a biological paper may be read at any of the meetings, it is more usual to arrange the meeting to be either primarily biological or physical. It depends on the list of Papers at the time, and so Harrison suggests that he inform him at once if he wishes to communicate a paper on 18 January, as that is likely to influence the Secretaries in the grouping of Papers for that meeting.
