DescriptionHarrison explains that, in response to Chree's letter of 10 March, that the Observatories Committee decided all the correspondence should be referred to the sub-committee and that Chree should be asked to write a memorandum to be sent to the India Office on the sub-committee's authority. He asks that Chree submit it to the Royal Society for forwarding to the India Office.
