TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Major Ronald Ross, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date17 March 1906
DescriptionGeikie has heard from Professor Edwin Ray Lankester that Ross would be willing to go to Uganda to participate in the Royal Society's Sleeping Sickness investigation, and writes to enquire if Ross has given the matter serious thought and to ask the terms he would seek. He assumes knowledge of the Society's role in the matter and their relations with the Colonial Office, but he is willing to answer any question Ross may have.

He believes Ross has heard of Tulloch being sent home due to having contracted trypansomes. They will telegraph Geikie once he has been sent home.
