TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Secretaries of the Royal Astronomical Society
Date7 April 1906
DescriptionHarrison explains that due to the volume of applications received from other societies for the inclusion of Royal Society papers in their publications, the Council have had to reconsider the subject, as the Royal Astronomical Society has done.

They intend to end the arrangement whereby the Royal Astronomical Society receive off-prints of selected papers read before the Royal Society for publication in their journals. Instead, they are willing to consider the supply of either Physical or Biological series of Proceedings of the Royal Society or Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society direct to members of learned societies at a reduced rate, provided each society is willing to subscribe on behalf of an adequate number of members.
