TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Walter Frank Raphael Weldon, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Zoology Committee
Date11 April 1906
DescriptionHarrison reports progress on three papers.

The three referees' reports for 'On the growth of the Oocyte in Antedon' by Dr Gilbert Charles Chubb have been returned, and he asks whether they may proceed to printing in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society under Standing Order 43, as two of the reports are favourable.

He asks whether, due to a difference in opinion from the two referees for 'A biometical study of conjugation in Paramaecium' by Dr Raymond Pearl, the paper should be sent to a third biological referee.

The manuscript of a paper by Professor Edgworth on head muscles in Common Fowl was returned from the referee, Edwin Stephen Goodrich, as he was unable to prepare a report prior to leaving Oxford to go overseas. It will be returned to Goodrich on his return after Easter, unless Weldon wishes to provide instructions to the contrary.
