DescriptionJames forwards an application to exhibit at the Royal Society Soirée from Professor Barrett, with a cutting concerning his exhibit from last year. Mr W Saville-Kent, former Commissioner of Fisheries to the Queensland Government, who previously showed photographs of coral reefs and pearl samples, has sent an application. Professor Herdman could be consulted or Larmor may wish to decide himself. Nothing has been heard from Mr Shipley regarding Dr Cunningham's suggested Meeting Room demonstration.

The date of the Croonian Lecture is to be 24 May rather than 31 May.
