TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor William Dobinson Halliburton, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date29 June 1906
DescriptionHalliburton's paper will be put in hand at once. Asks if it would be possible to express everything he wants to in black and white plates instead of colour as they are trying to keep down the expense of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' without injustice to the papers. Proofs of the text will be sent as soon as they are obtained from the printers. Once the manner of treating the plates is decided they could arrange for Halliburton to meet the engraver at the Society.
