TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Messrs Oliver & Boyd, Tweedale Court, Edinburgh
Date7 July 1906
DescriptionThe Messrs estimate enclosed for a volume of photographs and plates of the Antarctic Sketches have been considered by a Committee of the Royal Society, and Larmor is authorized to accept their estimate amount to £332.15.0. Details how the estimate is made up.

The Committee have adopted the alternative of a letterpress paper, similar to the sample the Messrs forwarded, for the descriptive matter. The Committee decided against adopting an art paper for the 120 plates and are making enquiries with a view to the selection of a callendered paper which would give good results and cost rather less. The question of folded plates or their separate issue in portfolios is being held over for the present. Asks the Messrs to put the half tone blocks in hand without delay, carrying out the work to Dr Wilson's instruction.
