DescriptionDr George Reid's paper on the 'Nitrification of Sewage' has been under consideration by the Physiology Sectional Committee, and it has been decided to recommend publication of the paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', subject to certain alterations suggested by one of the referees. Provides a copy of the referee's suggestions concerning; the omission of certain sections, abbreviation, the inclusion of the methods employed in the various estimations. Reid's attention might also be drawn to a paper in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' volume 77 by Miss Harriette Chick.

Harrison encloses a copy of the referee's suggestions together with the manuscript of Dr Reid's paper and so soon as the suggested alterations have been carried out the paper will be sent to the printers [no enclosures].
