Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles James Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 24 July 1906 |
Description | On 14 July 1906 the Society's printers received from Martin a letter asking them to address in future the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' and the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' to the Jenner Institute, Chelsea Embankment. Since that date the University of Melbourne has not been receiving the 'Transactions' and have written asking for them. As the letter was written from the University of Melbourne Harrison takes it that the printers took it as conveying a change of address to which the publications intended for the University were to be sent. Queries if Martin is receiving his own copies of the 'Transations' and if two copies are reaching the Institute. |
