Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Lieutenant Gray, Nayland Vicarage, Colchester |
Date | 26 July 1906 |
Description | Asks to know when Gray's completed report on his work in Uganda can be handed in. That is, excluding his joint paper with Professor Minchin which is now at the printers. Understands Gray and Tulloch worked with Professor Minchin, and by themselves after Minchin left, on the mode of infection by the Tsetse-fly and on the relation of 'wild' trypanosomes to Sleeping Sickness.
Gray has probably heard that it has been decided for the present to suspend laboratory work at Entebbe so that Gray will not need to go out again this year. Asks for a statement of the definite researches on which he has still to report and the probable time needed to complete his reports. |
