DescriptionSent the one block for the illustrations of Langley's Croonian lecture which Langley marked for improvement to the engraver to have the necessary alterations made and encloses a revised proof [not enclosed]. Langley's request to have the figures in the text instead of on a plate was referred to Dr [Joseph] Larmor, who agrees to their being separated, but if they do not come out so well on the printing paper, the Society shall not be responsible. A revise in pages shall be sent.
