TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Heatley Ramsay Traquair, Fellow of the Royal Society, The Bush, Colinton
Date3 October 1906
DescriptionForwarded Craig Christie's letter to the Chairman of the Scientific Relief Committee and told him of the circumstances Traquair described to him. The Chairman has in consequence taken the responsibility, in conjunction with one of the principal Secretaries, of authorizing the immediate grant of £25 to Mr Christie for present needs, and the matter will be reported to the Committee when it next meets.

Harrison has already sent the cheque for this amount to the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] for signature but fears it will not be returned for a little while as the Treasurer is abroad. As soon as the cheque arrives Harrison will sent it to Traquair, to whom the administration of the money is entrusted.
