TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sidney Harris Cox Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 October 1906
DescriptionHas today seen Mudge, to whom he had communicated Martin's minute regarding his paper. After some discussion regarding the abbreviation of the paper he said that if he might keep the five tables containing the essence of his results, and the diagrams agreed upon, he thought he could condense the first 66 pages into about 40, but he does not wish to embark upon the alteration without an assurance that in that form the paper will be published. Harrison promised to consult Martin at once to see if they might accept this proposal which would be a solution to a troublesome matter which has been hanging fire for a long time.
