TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date22 October 1906
DescriptionEither of the dates Scott mentions on his postcard for a meeting of the Botany Committee would be convenient, provided the referee's reports on Mr Hemsley's paper can be obtained in time. So far no report has been received from Professor Balfour, nor has Harrison had any answer to a reminder that was sent to him. As Balfour is the first referee and the paper has still to go to Professor D Oliver for a second report, it does not seem probable that it will be ripe for consideration by the first week in November.

The other matter for the Committee's consideration is Dr Fritsch's paper on the Freshwater Algal Flora of Ceylon, the three reports upon which were sent to Scott last month. There are besides, four or five 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' papers passed for publication under Standing Order 33 and awaiting formal report to the Committee.

Notes Scott's wish to have his address changed in the 'Year Book' list.
