TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to W Geoffrey Duffield, Physical Laboratory, Manchester University
Date3 November 1906
DescriptionBrought forward Duffield's letter of 27 October at a meeting of the Officers this week and there is nothing in the regulations of the Mackinnon Studentship to justify the Society calling on Duffield to withdraw an application for another scholarship, so long as the conditions imposed by the regulations are being observed. Discusses regulation seven, which touches on Duffield's present position. The question of Duffield merely holding another studentship would come up if and when Duffield applied for a renewal of the Mackinnon Studentship at the end of his first year's tenure.
